Playgrounds beginning with the designation PS5 come from the
Expedition series which means that they are constructed with 5
diameter steel posts, 48 deck grids and 30 plastic tubes to
accommodate larger groups of children. Those designated PS3 come
from the Adventure series which offers the same durability and
quality, but on 3.5 steel posts with 36 deck grids and 24 plastic
tubes, perfect for limited space or budgets as the Adventure option
takes up less space and is less expensive than the Expedition
Series. Both series are fully modular and are designed for a wide
age group of children (2-12).
Age 5-12: For the older group of children the Playground focus is on
hand-eye Co-ordination and on more physical challenges. Major muscle
development is the source and inspiration for component and
playground design. Weve zeroed in on this group with challenging
horizontal ladders, climbers and slides. By emphasizing popular
components and combining them dynamically, our playgrounds create
energy, focus attention, and create a great new place for social
interactions. The 5 to 12 age group requires wider slide bed ways
than the younger children. Horizontal ladders may launch from the
decks up to 36 high and may be as high as 84 off the ground. |
